Caviar has transformed Apple’s iPhone Duo into a collector-focused luxury edition priced at more than ₹20 lakh, with only 17 units planned globally.
Apple’s iPhone Duo has received an ultra-luxury makeover from customisation company Caviar, pushing the price of the foldable smartphone well beyond its standard retail price.
Called the “Liquid Metal” edition, the customised iPhone Duo starts at $18,840 and rises to $21,340 for the 2TB version. Caviar says production will be limited to just 17 units worldwide.
The 2TB model works out to more than ₹20 lakh at the exchange rate reflected in the supplied pricing, before taxes and other applicable charges.

Caviar has not altered the core foldable hardware for its Liquid Metal edition. Instead, the company has focused on the phone’s exterior materials and design.
What Is the Caviar Liquid Metal iPhone Duo?
Caviar says the Liquid Metal edition replaces the standard exterior treatment with custom sterling silver.
The silver is shaped into a sculptural relief and finished with a mirror polish, according to the customisation company.
The design incorporates flowing lines and reflective surfaces intended to complement the phone’s folding structure.

Only 17 Liquid Metal iPhone Duo Units
The limited production run is one of the defining features of the Caviar edition.
According to Caviar, only 17 Liquid Metal units will be produced globally, placing the customised smartphone firmly in the collector-oriented luxury segment.
Unlike a conventional upgraded smartphone, the premium here primarily comes from the materials, craftsmanship, exclusivity and custom design rather than changes to the underlying device specifications.
No Major Hardware Changes
Caviar has retained the core hardware of Apple’s iPhone Duo.
The customisation focuses on the exterior, with sterling silver and the company’s sculptural treatment forming the main differences from the standard foldable model.
This means buyers are essentially paying for an exclusive interpretation of Apple’s foldable smartphone rather than a substantially different internal device.
A Luxury Collectible Rather Than a Mainstream Smartphone
The Liquid Metal edition illustrates the market for highly customised versions of premium consumer electronics.
Caviar has previously built luxury editions of smartphones and other high-end devices, often using precious metals, unusual materials and limited production runs.
With its silver construction, distinctive exterior and 17-unit production limit, the Liquid Metal iPhone Duo is aimed at collectors and luxury buyers rather than mainstream smartphone customers.
