A private window can help identify a browser-profile issue, but it does not make you anonymous.
These messages usually indicate a website-side problem. Visitors generally cannot repair it through browser settings. Record the page URL, message and time, then contact the publication’s general enquiries address.
Note the starting URL and the final address shown. Try a private window. If needed, clear data only for the affected site, recognising this can remove site preferences or sign you out.
Include any message such as
ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS in your report.
Reload once and check whether the issue affects one image or the whole page. Browser extensions, network filters or an unavailable image server can affect loading.
Compare in another browser without changing your security settings. Report the article URL and describe which image is missing.
Use your browser’s default zoom to check the layout, rotate your device if useful and try an updated browser. Report your device model, browser, affected page and the button or menu that failed.
A screenshot showing the problem is helpful. Remove personal information before sharing it.
Embedded content can depend on an external platform, regional availability, privacy preferences or browser settings. Try opening the original video or post using its source link.
Do not disable browser security to play a video. Include the article URL and the displayed message when reporting the issue.
Avoid clicking a suspicious advertisement or downloading anything it offers. Close the unexpected tab and report the article URL, approximate time and a screenshot if safe.
Describe where the advertisement appeared. Never include payment information or passwords.
Contact the publication’s general enquiries address. Describe the page, the task you were trying to complete and the barrier you encountered.
If relevant, include your browser and assistive technology, such as a screen reader. Examples include unreadable text, missing image descriptions, keyboard navigation problems or inaccessible controls.
Email the editorial address of the publication. Include the article URL, the statement you believe is inaccurate, the proposed correction and supporting evidence.
Include a concise summary, relevant background and supporting sources. A submission does not guarantee publication.
Contact the relevant editorial team with the page URL, the material concerned, details of your rights or authority, and a clear explanation of the issue.
For permission to reuse content, describe the material, intended use, publication format and distribution. Sending a request does not itself grant permission.
