About these exchange rates
Rates are provided by Frankfurter. The currency list is loaded automatically from the provider. Rate availability depends on the selected pair and its source coverage.
These are daily reference rates, not real-time trading prices. Banks, cards and money-transfer providers may use different exchange rates, fees and spreads. Check the displayed reference date before relying on a conversion.
A country and a currency are not always a one-to-one match. Several countries share currencies. The provider may also list historical or other currency units; their latest available rates may be old or unavailable.

How do I find a currency?
Enter its name or code in the search box, then select it from the dropdown. Clear the search to see the full list.
Does this support every country’s currency?
It displays all currencies returned by the connected provider. This does not guarantee current rates for every currency or every possible pair.
Why is the rate date earlier than today?
Daily reference data may not update on weekends or holidays. Some currency series may also have older observations. The calculator always shows the date returned by the provider.
What happens if a rate cannot be loaded?
The calculator displays an error instead of inventing a rate. Try another pair or refresh after checking your connection.
Is my conversion amount sent to the provider?
No. This code requests the currency list and selected currency pair. Your entered amount is multiplied by the rate locally in your browser. The external service still receives the network requests needed to load its data.
