The Traitors India Season 2 raised the stakes with Episodes 7, 8 and 9, delivering a dramatic mix of murder, banishment, betrayal and emotional exits. As the game moved closer to its final stage, several contestants saw their journeys come to an end, including Shweta Tiwari, Rhea Chakraborty, Ikka, Prish and Ansh.

The latest episodes also brought major changes to the Traitors’ camp. Shahneel Gill was exposed and eliminated from the game, while Krystle D’Souza moved ahead with a new strategy and recruited Rida Tharana into the Traitors’ group.

With fewer contestants left in the competition, the battle between the Innocents and the Traitors has become increasingly intense.

Shweta Tiwari Is Murdered by the Traitors

One of the biggest developments in the latest set of episodes was the exit of Shweta Tiwari.

Her journey on The Traitors India Season 2 came to an end after she was murdered by the Traitors. At this stage of the competition, the remaining players were already under pressure to identify who they could trust and who might secretly be working against them.

Shweta’s elimination further reduced the number of Innocents in the game and added to the growing uncertainty among the contestants.

Every exit has a major impact on The Traitors, where contestants must constantly question alliances, conversations and voting patterns. With Traitors operating secretly, even the smallest suspicion can change the direction of the game.

Shahneel Gill Is Exposed as a Traitor

Another significant moment came when Shahneel Gill was exposed as a Traitor.

His exit marked a major turning point for the game, as the Innocents successfully identified one of the players secretly working against them. However, removing one Traitor does not necessarily mean the Innocents are safe.

The remaining Traitors still have the power to influence the game from within, creating new doubts and attempting to redirect suspicion towards innocent contestants.

Following Shahneel’s exit, Krystle D’Souza made a strategic move to strengthen the Traitors’ position by recruiting Rida Tharana.

The recruitment added another layer of complexity to the competition and ensured that the battle between the two groups continued.

Krystle D’Souza Recruits Rida Tharana

After Shahneel Gill was exposed, Krystle D’Souza moved to rebuild the Traitors’ side of the game.

She recruited Rida Tharana as a Traitor, giving the secret group another player who would now have to hide their true identity from the remaining contestants.

The decision created an important shift in the competition.

For the newly recruited Traitor, the challenge is not only to participate in the secret strategy but also to convince the other contestants that they remain innocent. This balancing act is one of the most difficult aspects of the format.

As the competition moved closer to its final episodes, every decision became increasingly important.

Rhea Chakraborty Bids an Emotional Goodbye

Rhea Chakraborty’s journey on The Traitors India Season 2 also came to an end in the latest set of episodes.

Her exit was particularly emotional as she said goodbye to the contestants she had spent the competition with.

In her farewell message, Rhea expressed her affection for the other participants and described them as her family away from family. She also apologised to contestants she may have accused during the Circle of Shaq, reminding everyone that the suspicion and finger-pointing were part of the game.

She made it clear that, despite the accusations directed at her, she was not secretly working as a Traitor.

Confirming her status as an Innocent, Rhea said, “This felt like deja vu. Roses are red, Violets are blue, I am in Chapter Two. How dare you? I am innocent. Always have been. Always will be. Thank you.”

Her exit was another setback for the Innocents, who continued to struggle with the difficult task of separating genuine allies from the Traitors hiding among them.

Ikka Is Cursed by the Traitors

Following Rhea’s exit, Ikka faced a different kind of challenge in the game.

He was cursed by the Traitors, putting his future in the hands of the remaining contestants. The Innocents were required to make the right decision to save him, but they ultimately failed to do so.

As a result, Ikka also had to bid farewell to the show as the competition entered its final phase.

His exit added further pressure to the remaining players, who were now operating with a shrinking group and fewer opportunities to correct earlier mistakes.

The ability of the Traitors to manipulate events from behind the scenes continued to play a crucial role in determining which contestants remained in the competition.

Prish Is Murdered as Rida Fears Being Exposed

The game took another dramatic turn when Prish was murdered.

According to the developments in the episodes, Rida feared that Prish could expose her identity as a Traitor. The decision to remove Prish therefore became an important strategic move.

In a game where secrecy is essential, any contestant who becomes suspicious of a Traitor can become a major threat.

Prish’s exit further demonstrated how quickly the balance of power can change in The Traitors. For the Traitors, survival depends on staying hidden. For the Innocents, survival depends on recognising the truth before it is too late.

With the finale drawing closer, the consequences of each decision became more significant.

Ansh Is Eliminated After Suspicion Grows

Episode 9 brought another major elimination as Ansh was voted out of the competition.

The Innocents believed that Ansh was secretly working as a Traitor. However, his elimination added another twist to the increasingly complicated game.

The incident highlighted one of the biggest challenges faced by the contestants: being confident about a suspicion does not always mean the suspicion is correct.

Every vote can either help the Innocents eliminate a Traitor or accidentally remove one of their own allies. As the number of contestants continues to fall, the cost of making the wrong decision becomes even greater.

Ansh’s exit closed another dramatic chapter in the season and left the remaining players facing an even more uncertain road to the finale.

Who Has Been Eliminated in Episodes 7 to 9?

The latest episodes saw multiple contestants leave the game through different twists and eliminations.

Among the key exits were:

  • Shweta Tiwari — Murdered by the Traitors
  • Shahneel Gill — Exposed as a Traitor
  • Rhea Chakraborty — Eliminated as an Innocent
  • Ikka — Cursed and eliminated
  • Prish — Murdered
  • Ansh — Eliminated after being suspected of being a Traitor

The exits have dramatically reduced the number of players in the competition as the show moves closer to its final stage.

What Is The Traitors Season 2 About?

The Traitors India Season 2 places contestants in a psychological game built around trust, deception and strategy.

The players are divided into two secret sides: the Innocents and the Traitors.

The Innocents must work together to identify the Traitors hiding among them. At the same time, the Traitors secretly strategise against the Innocents while attempting to keep their identities hidden.

The format creates constant tension because every contestant can become a suspect. Players must analyse conversations, voting behaviour and relationships while deciding whom they can trust.

The Circle of Shaq is a crucial part of the game, where contestants discuss their suspicions and make important decisions that can determine who stays and who leaves.

As the number of contestants decreases, the psychological pressure intensifies. The remaining Innocents must identify the hidden Traitors before they lose control of the game.

The Traitors India Season 2 Release Schedule

Hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar, The Traitors India Season 2 premiered on Prime Video in India on August 13, 2026.

The season has continued to release new episodes every Thursday.

Following Episodes 7, 8 and 9, the tenth episode is scheduled to arrive on September 3, 2026.

With the competition entering its final leg, the upcoming episode is expected to bring even more strategic decisions and pressure for the remaining contestants.

The central question now is whether the Innocents can finally identify all the Traitors—or whether the Traitors will manage to stay hidden until the very end.
