Women's Premier League 2025 Schedule Announced: Tournament Expands to Four Cities

The Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 is set to be bigger and more exciting than ever, with matches being hosted across four cities for the first time. Following successful editions in Mumbai (2023) and Delhi-Bengaluru (2024), the upcoming season will see games played in Baroda, Bengaluru, Lucknow, and Mumbai.

The season kicks off on February 14 at the newly built BCA Stadium in Baroda, with Gujarat Giants taking on defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Baroda will host a total of six matches before the action shifts to Bengaluru, where RCB will play four of their eight home games.

Key Schedule Highlights:

  • Baroda: Hosts the opening game and five additional matches.

  • Bengaluru: Home to eight games, including four featuring the defending champions RCB.

  • Lucknow: Making its WPL debut, with four matches, including three home games for the UP Warriorz.

  • Mumbai: Concludes the group stages and hosts the Eliminator (March 13) and the grand final (March 15) at the CCI Stadium.

The tournament structure will see the second and third-placed teams clash in the Eliminator, with the winner advancing to face the table-toppers in the final.
