When Donald Trump enters the White House Monday afternoon, shortly after his swearing-in, over 100 executive orders will await him on his Oval Office desk. His team has prepared these orders to help him begin his second term without delay.

These executive orders are primarily focused on fulfilling his campaign promises. In an NBC interview, Trump mentioned his intention to sign a "record-setting" number of executive actions on day one. When asked if this would exceed 100 orders, Trump responded, "Well, at least in that category."

An executive order is a directive issued by the president that carries the force of law. Unlike legislation, it does not require Congressional approval. While Congress cannot directly overturn executive orders, they can be challenged in court.

Trump stated, "We have a record-setting number of documents that I’ll be signing right after this (inauguration) speech." He is set to be sworn in as the 47th President of the United States on January 20. His close associate, Stephen Miller, revealed that these orders will focus on five key areas: securing the Southern border, mass deportation, preventing transgender individuals from competing in women’s sports, removing restrictions on energy exploration, and enhancing government efficiency. Among the expected orders is one to pardon his supporters arrested for their involvement in the January 6 US Capitol attack four years ago.
