Rajganj, 21st January: A tragic incident occurred when an 8-year-old student was hit by a motorcycle while on his way home from school. The accident took place in the Dangapara area of the Sahudangi-Gandarmod state highway.

The deceased, Surjit Das, was a resident of Sipai Para in the Binnaguri Gram Panchayat of Rajganj. He was a third-grade student at Binnaguri Nawapara BFP Primary School. According to family sources, Surjit was struck by a speeding motorcycle in Dangapara near Nawapara while heading home around noon.

Locals found him immediately and rushed him to a private hospital in Fulbari, where doctors declared him dead. The tragic incident has left the local community in mourning.
